Yes.Tickets are non-transferable.Once booking is made, airlines do not allow passengers to assign their tickets to other people or change names on tickets.
But even then you can change your date or cancel your booking.
As long as if you have not paid yet and a ticket has not been issued, you are free to make changes and/or cancel your booking..
